Anthony Samango is President of Carson Concrete, a concrete construction company in the Philadelphia area specializing in high-rise construction. He began working in construction at age 12 in 1988, starting as a laborer and carpenter with Carson Concrete. After earning his civil engineering degree from Tulane University in 1999, he progressed through roles as Estimator, Project Manager, and Vice President before becoming President in December 2016. Under his leadership, Carson Concrete has completed major projects including Citizens Bank Ballpark (the new Phillies Ballpark, which required 60,000 cubic yards of concrete in 2004), The St. James (at 500 feet, the tallest residential concrete frame south of New York City and north of Atlanta), One Liberty Place, and numerous high-rise apartments, condominiums, student housing, and parking garages throughout Philadelphia and the region.
